　　　　The sky looked somewhat dismal 　With crows flying up high. 　Down there laid something abysmal　And no one dares to sigh　　　Packed with trains and carried with trucks　An astonishing number of Jews arrived　From the streets or homes they were plucked　To face a destiny they could not survive　　　They walked in line or hardly walked　With their feet so sore with tire　At the danger many balked　Milk and bread and a bed they desire　　　Men and women walked in different lines　Young and old were picked out and combined　Separated families screamed in dismay　Nazis looked for random prisoners to slay　　　Each was assigned a dark cold room　They all know they were to be doomed　How can we call this home sweet home?　Where rats and ticks spread in the gloam.　　　The night was long and they wished for light　A crowd of Nazis came to sigh　Shooting began like firecrackers sound　To death and hell they were bound.
