No doubt the Internet now becomes increasingly accessible. Howerer, there are growing concerns about the negative effiects of adopting new technology on the younger generation. Opponents argue that teenagers are now expposed to a lot of harmful contents on social media. In fact, it is not the technology itself that is harmful but how it is applied. We should't overlook the benefits gained from new technology. Instantaneous communication via mobile phones is an example of how technology brings convenience to us. Rather than opposing it, all we have to do is educate children to discern what they accsee online and learn to harness new technology.
