Long long ago , there was a old horse and a little horse 　 lived in the stable. .　 　　One day , the old horse said to the little horse : “I have so old already,could you do anything for me ?”The little horse answered : “why not ? I would !” The old horse was very 　 happy, said : “ ok! Please take the half of bag wheat to 　 the mill.” Then , the little hores hold up the bag , ran to the　 mill. But soon , a river and the mill apart . The little　 horse though ：“How I pass throngh ? It’s nice if my 　 mother is here ,I can ask her .what a pity , here is far 　 from home. ”　 　　 The little horse looked round . he found a cattle and 　 asked him : “Excuse me ,Uncle Niu , may I know , if I can pass throngh the river ?” The cattle said : “No problem , do it .”　 　　The little horse heard that , so he wanted to do .　 Suddenly , a squirreljumped down from the tree ,　 shouted: “Stop , stop !” The little horse surprised ,asked: “Is the river deep?”Thesquirrel said:“Certanly ,　 Yesterday,one of my friends fell into the river and was 　 swamped.”　 　　 The little horse was very afraid . He didn’t what to do . He could only went home . When he got home , his mother asked : “Why did you come back ?” The little horse felt very sorry, 　 said: “There was a river kept off me . I couldn’t passed 　 thought the river.”Mother said: “Isn’t it shallow?”“No,　 Uncle Niu said with you ,but squirreldidn’t agree.” 　 “ Where do you think so ?”" I don’t know."The old horse 　 said :“Think it carefully , what about having a try ,then 　 you will know .”　 　　 so the little horse went to trying . At last , he 　 passedthrongh the river . In fact , the river wasn’t 　 shallow as Uncle Niu said , not deep as the squirrel said .
