Chapter 2　“Bip, Bip.” I got a text message for…katlin.　“Jessica, I’m glad to spend the afternoon with you. Do ask Helen to come with us. It will be fun with three, and besides, I admire her style.” And everything is clear with me.　　 My use was to get Helen in the plan, since Helen is my best friend and she’d only go if I went.　　 But it will do her no harm, right?　　 Oh, here comes Helen and Todd. “Hi Jessica. How long have you been waiting for me?” Helen was a little surprised.　　 “Just a while. We are going to the mall this afternoon with katlin, and she is expecting you.” I told her rapidly, without a motion.　　 “But I can’t. I’m having dinner with Todd.” Helen turned back, smiling at Todd.　　 “Well, you’ve got to make up your mind. Choose between your girl friend and boyfriend.” I joked, winking at Helen. She gave Todd an imploring look. “I have to find clothes for the disco…”　　 “And you don’t want your dance partner to go in rugs, do you?” I added playfully.　　 “Alright.” Todd said, running his hands tenderly in Helen’s dark brown hair. “Go and have a good time. I’ll wait in the car.”　　 “Really? Thank you soooo much!” Helen cried out and hugged Todd so hard that he screamed in pain.　　 Sometimes I’m jealous that Helen has a nice boyfriend and I don’t. But I’m really not that kind of person, I don’t. But I’m really not that kind of person. I don’t feel I’m old enough, and I don’t have much interest.　　 There is a guy in my class who has a crush on me, I think. Named Andy. He passed me notes in class which sounded like a propose or something, rather ridiculous. I know, it’s silly. I frowned and stared at him try to tell him no more notes. But Andy is great as a friend, not a boy friend, just a friend who is a boy.　　 That makes sense, doesn’t it?　　 Back to the ‘Mall’ subject. My use was to get Helen in use. But what use could Helen be to katlin. I mean, she always hangs around with popular girls like Tess and Sarah, or hot guys like Steven and Jimmy. Since when was she so interested in normal teens like me and Helen?　　 And she says she like the style of Helen. That is so unbelievable! Really, does Helen even have a style, according to Katlin?
