Chapter 6　I do remember Emma and Richard and their unfortunes all caused by Katlin.　　 Let’s start by talking about Katlin. She is 16 at the moment and really really pretty. That’s the most horrible detail about her. She is so pretty that she made it into the cheerleaders and got to be a cover girl on the teen magazine. The whole school admired her which made her extraordinary bossy and mean. I don’t get it. Why are the pretty and popular girls always so mean? It doesn’t make them look like a queen or VIP by being unkind. I’d like her be nice for a change.　　 Emma was also a very decent and sweet girl in our school(that was two years ago). Emma was much nicer that Katlin and she soon became very popular in school. Since then, steven never took any notice of Katlin any more. Katlin was jealous of Emma and her fame. She showed her power by driving away Emma from school. She was evil, pure evil.　　 Katlin set a trap and Emma fell in it. She was accused of cheating on exams. Eventually, she got three week of detention and grounded for months. Everyone started to despise her. Katlin got back her royal throne again, leaving Emma swimming in tears. Soon Emma couldn’t stand the shame and went to another school, far from Katlin. That was the power of jealousy, the power of flunkies like Katlin.　　 Last year Richard was also trapped by Katlin, only a little differently. Richard sticks up to justice a lot and he’s sometimes bad-tempered. He’s not well-known in school before the event. He was no threat to Katlin and her status. In spite of that, Katlin won’t leave him alone.　　 His father was an expert photographer and they’ve got an expert camera. Katlin wanted to borrow it for her photo shots. Richard refused. Katlin got all mad and promised to get him one day.　　 Then one day, Richard got beaten up by some gangsters of elder grades. Katlin accused him of being rude to her. And a strong guy punched him right in the face. He had to get eleven stitches for that, not to mention all the bruises and wounds. That was the power of selfishness.　　 Katlin is certainly a bitch, no excuse.　　 “Fine. I won’t tell Helen. There’s no good in telling her anyway. She’ll be all upset but I won’t let nasty things happen. Keep my words, cus you shall not regret.” I’m not going to let it happen.　　 It will just be too much Helen could take.　　 No way I’m letting Katlin get away.　　 No way.
