“Me?” the girl turned around and looked at me. “I’m Elizabeth- your stepsister.” She rolled her eyes “Didn’t mummy tell you about me?”　

I smiled at her. “No, she must have forgotten.” 　

“She always forgets, she has a bad memory.” Elizabeth said lowing her voice. I laughed. “Nice thing to say about your mother!”　

The door pushed open and Sophie walked in with my chocolate milk.　

“Are you talking about me?” She asked smiling as she handed me the chocolate milk.　

“Yeah, we were saying that you have a…” Said Elizabeth naughtily but I covered her mouth just in time.　

“Errr…we were just saying what a wonderful mother you are.” I prompted. 　

“Okay, okay.” Sophie conceded.　

“Annie, drink your milk and go to bed, Elizabeth follow me, I need to have a word with you.” Sophie walked out of the room and Elizabeth followed. I drank my milk and turned off the light. I went to bed but couldn’t sleep. Something doesn”t feel right about Sophie. Maybe it’s because she is too nice and I’ve never thought a stepmother will be so nice to a child that”s not even hers.　

I could hear Sophie and Elizabeth whispering outside of the door. I couldn’t really hear what they said but I bet Sophie is teaching Elizabeth how to behave now that she is part of this family.　

I’ve got a nice family now. With a wonderful stepmother and a wonderful stepsister but let’s not try to think in the negative side- my dad who cheats on his wife he cheated on mum, and Sophie will be no exception. I could imagine David going off with other girlfriends and leaving Sophie, Elizabeth and me home. But I don”t care, I don”t need my dad. Mum told me to be independent and I will. Sophie, Elizabeth and I are going to have the time of our life together at home- with out David, that I know for sure. Should I tell Sophie How David really is, and how he cheats on all his wife? No, I won’t. I’ll make sure Sophie finds out herself because then she’ll react worse. I thought.　

It’s not that I want Sophie feel bad, it’s that I don”t want David to get away of doing all this, to me and to Cenila- to sophie and Elizabeth later on. But how am I going to stop david from cheating on his wives? How? Then I remembered what Cenila always says. “Never give up trying, in the end you will make it.” I closed my eyes. Cencila’s face formed in my mind. How I wish you were here! Why did you leave me with out saying goodbye? I thought. I would never forget her smile, and mostly I would never forget about her no matter how nice Sophie is.　

No one can ever replace her in this world and definitely not in other worlds if there are. I was deep in thoughts and soon after I fell asleep.
