　　“The sky is falling! I must tell the queen,” called Henny Penny. 　

　　一天，母雞潘妮在尋找種子。一個橡果從樹上掉下來，砸着了她的頭。“噢，我的天哪!”她說，“天掉下來了!我必須得告訴王后。”她跑出了小巷，從鴨子盧凱旁邊經過。

　　The two passed Turkey Lurkey. 　

　　“Where are you going?” he asked them. 　

　　“The sky is falling! We must tell the queen,” they called. 　

　　“Oh, my! I’ll go, too,” said Turkey Lurkey.

　　And so the happy friends set out for home.
