01】If I were a Boy Again

If I were a boy again, I would practice perseverance(毅力)more often, and never give up a thing because it was hard or inconvenient. If we want light, we must conquer darkness. Perseverance can sometimes equal genius in its results. “There are only two creatures,” says a proverb, “who can surmount the pyramids—the eagle and the snail.”

If I were a boy again, I would school myself into a habit of attention; I would let nothing come between me and the subject in hand. I would remember that a good skater never tries to skate in two directions at once. The habit of attention becomes part of our life, if we begin early enough. I often hear grown-up people say “I could not fix my attention on the lecture or book, although I wished to do so” , and the reason is, the habit was not formed in youth.

If I were to live my life over again, I would pay more attention to the cultivation of the memory. I would strengthen that faculty by every possible means, and on every possible occasion. It takes a little hard work at first to remember things accurately; but memory soon helps itself, and gives very little trouble. It only needs early cultivation to become a power.

If I were a boy again, I would look on the cheerful side. Life is very much like a mirror: if you smile upon it, I smile back upon you; but if you frown and look doubtful on it, you will get a similar look in return.

Inner sunshine warms not only the heart of the owner, but of all that come in contact with it. “who shuts love out ,in turn shall be shut out from love.”

Finally, instead of trying hard to be happy, as if that were the sole purpose of life, I would, if I were a boy again, I would still try harder to make others happy.

  ★【演講稿02】I love English

As everyone knows, English is very important today. It has been used everywhere in the world. It has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade. If we can speak English well, we will have more chance to succeed. Because more and more people have taken notice of it, the number of the people who go to learn English has increased at a high speed.

But for myself, I learn English not only because of its importance and its usefulness, but also because of my love for it. When I learn English, I can feel a different way of thinking which gives me more room to touch the world. When I read English novels, I can feel the pleasure from the book which is different from reading the translation. When I speak English, I can feel the confidence from my words. When I write English, I can see the beauty which is not the same as our Chinese...

I love English, it gives me a colorful dream. I hope I can travel around the world one day. With my good English, I can make friends with many people from different countries. I can see many places of great interests. I dream that I can go to London, because it is the birth place of English.

I also want to use my good English to introduce our great places to the English spoken people, I hope that they can love our country like us.

I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well.

If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. So I believe as I love English everyday, it will love me too.

I am sure that I will realize my dream one day!

  ★【演講稿03】I have a dream我有一個夢想(節選)

Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves, who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.

I say to you today, my friends. And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal.

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with

the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification; one day right down in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers. I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.

This is our hope. This is the faith that I will go back to the South with. With this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.

  ★【演講稿04】I have a dream

Every one has his own dream. When I was a little kid ,my dream was even to have a candy shop of my own .But now ,when I am 16 years old ,standing here ,my dreams have already changed a lot.

I have got quite different experience from other girls. While they were playing toys at home, while they were dreaming to be the princesses in the story .I was running in the hard rain, jumping in the heavy snow, pitching in the strong wind. Nothing could stop me, because of a wonderful call from my heart -- to be an athlete. Yeah, of course, I”m an athlete, I”m so proud of that all the time .

When I was 10 years old, I became a shot-put athlete. The training was really hard ,I couldn”t bear the heavy shot in my hands .But I always believe that "god only help those who help themselves". During those hard days, I find I was growing more quickly than others of the same age. To be an athlete is my most correct choice. But, I quit my team after entering high school because of a silly excuse. I really didn”t want to stop my sports career anyway.

Today I say to you my friends that even though I must face the difficulties of yesterday ,today and tomorrow .I still have a dream .It is a dream deeply rooted in my soul

.

I have a dream that one day, I can run, jump and pitch just like I used to be.

I have a dream that one day, I can go back to my dream sports and join the national team.

I have a dream that one day, I can stand on the highest place at the Olympic Games. With all the cameras pointing at me I will tell everyone that I”m so proud to be a Chinese athlete!

This is my hope .This is the faith that I continue my steps with!!!

With this faith ,I will live through the strong wind and heavy rain ,never give up !

So let victory ring from my heart, from all of you. When we allow victory to ring .I must be the one!

In my imagination, I”m a bird, a magical bird. I carry my dreams all with me by my big wings. I fly through the mountains ,through the forests ,over the sea, to the sun ,the warmest place in the aerospace!

Every night, I have a dream, I see a girl ---smiling

  ★【演講稿05】Don’t give up

If we would ever accomplish anything in life, let us not forget that we must persevere. If we would learn our lessons in school, we must be diligent and not give up whenever we come to anything difficult. We shall find many of our lessons very hard, but let us consider that the harder they are the better they will do to us if we will persevere and learn them thoroughly.

But there are some among us who are ready to give up when they come to a hard example in mathematics, and say, "I can”t do this." They never will if they feel so. "I can”t" never does anything worthwhile; but "I”ll try" accomplishes wonders.

Let us remember that we shall meet with difficulties all through life. They are in the pathway of everyone. If we will only try and keep trying, we shall be sure to conquer and overcome every difficulty we meet with. If we have a hard lesson today, let us strive to learn it well and then we shall be prepared for a harder one tomorrow. And if we learn to master hard lessons in school, it will prepare us to overcome the hard things that we shall meet in life, when our school days are over.

  ★ 【演講稿06】Treasure Your Life

Dear friends, we all know that in winter, nearly a

ll the trees stop growing and nearly all the flowers stop blooming. But as spring is coming, the trees will turn green and all kinds of flowers will smile for us once again. That means trees and flowers can wither and then begin to grow again. But what about our lives Each one of us has only one chance to live in the world, so we must treasure our lives! Living in the world is not easy for every person. But it is something that we all must do. We can own blue sky, the warm sunshine and all the beauty; only when we are alive, can we enjoy the pleasure of life; only when we are alive, can we do things. But if you lose your life, how can you love others and how can you make contributions to the world So, please, treasure your life!

In fact we live in the world not only for ourselves, but also for all the people who love us. Parents love us very much. When we are happy, they will smile cheerfully. But if we are in trouble, they immediately become sad. As parents, they only hope that we can live with them happily! So, we must also treasure our lives, for our parents!

To treasure your life, remember the following. First, you must learn to smile. If you are always smiling at others, others will smile at you. Smiling can help you overcome your sadness. Don’t cry to the world, just smile! Secondly, never lose heart. Nobody can always be successful in everything. We all fail at some time. Please remember the saying, “Failure is the mother of success.” Just keep on showing your courage. Nothing difficult can stop you. Thirdly, imagine your bright future when you grow up. Maybe you will be a doctor, a write or a teacher, but whatever you do, the future must be helpful. So, now, love yourself, and after a few years you will enjoy the life you want.

After all, we are still young. We shouldn’t worry about the future too much. We only need to live and study happily. Time is too short to waste. We must love our lives every day.

Treasure your life. You can be successful in everything!

Treasure your life. The world will become a more and more beautiful place!

Treasure your life, and a great future will belong to you.

For our students, marks is above everything. Teachers will judge us from our marks. With marks we can be enrolled into junior middle schools. With marks, we can be enrolled into senior middle schools. With marks we can be enrolled into college. With marks we can be enrolled into postgraduate and doctrine studies. Still with marks we can be graded and be allowed to go abroad for further studies. Our parents will be strict with us w

ith the marks. Our society judge us from marks. However, sometimes we students compare one another with marks directly. We are completely controlled by marks. We like them and we feel sorry for them. But what attitude towards our marks should we take Truly, marks functions cannot be underestimated. In terms of test in our study, marks are fair and real. That is the reason why we say Everyone is equal before marks. However, I think marks are the sole standard to judge the success or failure of students in exams. Sometimes, marks more than ten or less than one or two in our exams comparing with others mean not everything. The success or failure in exams will be influenced by experience on the spot and the examinees health etc. Once in a while one cannot fail in exams. Success or failure is common sense for military. I think everyone is familiar with the famous saying. Don’t you think such will be the case with our study In exams, one cannot be never-defeated general . Even though one will be very good in everyday study, he cannot succeed in every exam sometimes. We can get proof from the fact that the very best one we call Number One Scholar in the entrance exams for college and ordinary middle school and specialized secondary school over the years is not eminent above all others nor top student in every study. As a matter of fact, high marks and ability are not unified. Some time ago, a new phrase high marks but poor competence came into being. Once I happened to meet such a teacher as this .It is said that the teacher just graduated from a far-famed key university. But his teaching result is much less than that of the one who just graduated from a not-well-renowned college. When lecturing, the teacher only repeated what the text-books says, which was very dull so the his students interest in learning was not aroused. His teaching was short of unity of teaching and learning. At present there is a fact that we know a few brilliant and top college graduates are not qualified for their posts. The reason for it may be lack of the ability to combine knowledge learnt from books with pragmatics in their work. Students of this kind will be successful in every exam but they will be able to use freely their knowledge in their posts. Dont you think it waste training such persons for the country

To sum up from the above, I can say marks are not absolutely authoritative for some. If we neglect training and developing the students ability and competence and if we only seek for the high marks, we will be absolutely wrong. We should take an objective attitude towards the marks. Neither should we neglect them nor should we overvalue them like a God.

  The Pursuit of Excellence

As you slowly open your eyes, look around, notice where the light comes into your room; listen carefully, see if there are new sounds you can recognize; feel with your body and spirit, and see if you can sense the freshness in the air.

Yes, yes, yes, it’s a new day. It’s a different day, and it’s a bright day! And most importantly, it’s a new beginning for your life, a beginning where you are going to make new decisions, take new actions, make new friends, and take your life to a totally unprecedented (空前的) level.

In your mind’s eye, you can see clearly the things you want to have, the paces you intend to go, the relationships you desire to develop, and the positions you aspire(勵志)to reach.

You can hear your laughters of joy and happiness on the day when everything happens as you dream. You can see the smiles on the people around you when the magic moment strikes. You can feel your face is getting red, your heart is beating fast, and your blood is rushing all over your body, to every single corner of your being!

You know all this is real as long as you are confident, passionate and committed(忠誠的;堅決的)! And you are confident, you are passionate, you are committed!

You will no longer fear voicing new opinions, showing new facial expressions, using your body in new ways, approaching new people, and asking new questions.

You will live every single day of your life with absolute passion, and you will show your passion through the words you say and the actions you take.

You will focus all your time and effort on the most important goals of your life. You will never give in (屈服,屈從) to challenges of hardships.

You will never waver (動搖) in your pursuit of excellence(追求卓越). After all, you are the best, and y

ou deserve the best!

As your friend, I can assure you the door to all the best things in the world will open to you, but the key to that door is in your hand. You must do your part. You must faithfully follow the plans you make and take the actions you plan; you must never quit and you must never fear. I know you must do it, you can do it, you will do it, and you will succeed! Now stand firm and tall, make a fist, get excited, and yell it out:

I must do it! I can do it! I will do it! I will succeed!

I must do it! I can do it! I will do it! I will succeed!

I must do it! I can do it! I will do it! I will succeed!

  歷練心智之真,必取百鍊成鋼;
